Pictures of current situation (previous owners)

Do you have furniture you're bringing, or are you planning on buying new? Do you have a rug you want to use? Do you have an inspiration picture that conveys your style, or can you show us your current family room or living room (whichever you're trying to replicate)? I can see you're probably going to want to paint and get a new ceiling fan, but without more information I don't know what else to suggest.

^^ agree- also let folks know if you need/want to have a TV in the room - that often dictates furniture layout

Have you assembled an Ideabook here of looks you like? Post those and photos of any furniture you are bringing to this new home. If you don't love the yellow walls, it will be tempting to paint them before moving in, but that would be a mistake. Paint is the last item in a reno project and should be chosen based o the fabrics and textiles in the space; hence the photos of your stuff.

How many people will be using the space? Do you often host gatherings?

Start with paint and new lighting.

We definitely need more information on what you have and what you’re needs are …

You have a great space to work with. Large, comfortable, and inviting. Here is a layout you could consider.

Y'all are the best!! I definitely need a place for a television. I do have a really cool blue couch that I'm keeping, but that's it. I took some pictures of some things that I sorta like. I would like to have the walls white.

Just completely clueless

Do you own any furniture?

I actually own too much furniture!! I'm donating it all to Project Safe.

Worked so hard on this lol. Hope it inspires :):)

How did you do that? Please don't laugh 😂

Haha

3. measurements of the room

Tell us about your household - pets, kids, adults, seniors

What are your favorite colors?

Can you tell us what you like about the following photos and what you don't like

Take a pic of your blue couch.

Where oh where is the ”View in my Room” function? The poster above mentioned the yellow pointer icon, but I cannot locate that either. Help please.

Try your ideabooks.
