I think that painting the arched doors in black would give the house more character. If you're keeping the storm door I would also paint it black like the front door. I wouldn't paint the garage door. You can install larger sconces.

Thank you very much for your input and the graphics. Changing the lanterns to something heavier and darker is a great idea.

I'm going to be in the minority. I love the color and don't think anything looks washed out. I think it looks clean, fresh, and pretty. A front door needs to stand out, so I have no problem with your choice for the front door color.

I love the idea of heavier, dark sconces and exterior hardware. What you also need are some big pots with tall greenery near the garage, if there's room, or something to climb up over the garage door, or some carefully thought-through decorative pots to make a walkway near the french doors. It needs statement-making landscape, imho.

Keep in mind that there is a current trend of painting houses white and then outlining some features in black. It is a trend. It doesn't always come off looking great.

That is a gorgeous door, and a wonderful color for it. I still vote to keep the black-ish color to only what you have right now. And the beefier lighting/hardware.

The stucco color is Benjamin Moore AF 70 - Battenburg.

I know nothing about decorating. That said, what about painting the gutter downspout at the entrance to match the house? It would stick out so much visually. Or is that a stupid thing to do??
