We have had a very annoying ticking noise coming through our floor when the furnace is heating up and cooling down. we finally opened up the ceiling to see if something is loose. nothing obvious, however when I push up on the section of duct that is exposed it stops. Is there a way to brace the duct so it doesn’t expand and contract so much and stop this noise? so annoying.
