Adding skylights again…

I previously had 4 old, 70s style Andersen skylights in my sunroom.

When there was an issue with the roof last spring, I had these removed because someone tarred them excessively to sell house - definitely saw better days.

The roofer advised me to take ‘em out. A decision I regretted. So they added plywood and shingles over them.

Inside, I have not found a carpenter to dry wall over the holes.

My question is… if the holes on the interior are still there and I’ve changed my mind — would it be possible to add skylights again in the same locations?

I’m assuming they’d need to mark from the inside where the “holes “ are… then remove shingles and cut from outside. My drywall is all finished nice inside already so I’m hoping it would be as simple as that.

Thanks…
