I love to play mahjong, but I had a set with the ugliest mauve carrying case in the world. So I made a new one. The fabric is by Kaffe Fassett, two compatible prints. I sandwiched and quilted the outer fabric by outlining the flowers in stitching. I now have the coolest carrying case on the planet. I almost ruined it though, when I hit the woven strapping with a hot iron. It's plastic. You can see the little melted mark on the lower strap in the second photo. Very bad idea!
