I would never design a kitchen remotely way too many things can go wrong when someone else does the measuring. I did an Ikea kitchen for a friend in Miami Beach but I was down there on a vist we dicussed the plans I did all the measuring for every inch of the space , designed the kitchen in Calgary sent her the list for Ikea when the new store opened in FLA. I talked often to the installer since the whole kitchen was not done according to Ikea rules but I had also been designing Ikea kitchens for 12 yrs at that time so knew exactly what was possible.It went together perfectly. I just di d awhole room Pax for her lastyear same way except the space was very simple not like akitchen
