Bathroom design dilemma

Hello,
I am remodeling my upstairs hall bathroom. It is long, narrow (13ft) with the vanity on the left and tub/shower on the right as you enter. The tub/shower and white 6 inch square tile (with chair rail) surround are staying. (See photos). My vision was to put in a 2 inch white hexagon floor that would coordinate with the tub and wall tile, a medium blue/green vanity (probably BM Mount Saint Anne), white quartz countertop. (See photo with blue vanity; my inspiration picture).
I have 2 questions. 1. Unlike the photo with the blue vanity, I would like to paint the walls a lighter gray/blue/green (eg SW Seasalt). In your opinion, will this make the whole room look too blue -too much like a nursery?
2. The white hex tile I am choosing for the floor has narrower grout lines than the wall tile around the tub. A) Will this look strange? My alternative is to install octagon and dot floor tile with wider grout lines, but the "white" of my tile sample doesn't match the tub/tile surround as well as the hex tile B) The tub wall surround tile is grouted in white. I am planning to grout the white hex floor in a light grey or stone color for practical reasons. Will this look ok?
Thanks!
