How does the shower drain? Is there standing water after a shower?

I actually squeegee the walls and the shower basin entirely after each shower. The tiles are likely still damp, but evenly throughout the basin. That’s why the discoloration doesn’t quite make sense.

Looks like you could have standing water trapped behind the tile, maybe from an improper slope or leak. Hopefully, an expert or two will weigh in with their expertise.

Thanks for the input. I hadn’t thought of that. I didn’t even know that would be possible, especially with a new home. If that is the case, and I’d like to get the builder to fix it. If there are any experts, you can weigh in that would be awesome.

Someone really needs to look at this on site to determine of the pitch is the issue. If the pan is not pitched properly you are not "Fixing" that without demo of the entire pan and at minimum part of the walls.

Here are some photos from during construction if that helps. I included one of the drain at if that helps. I plan to go back to the builder, but would like to educate myself as much as possible first.

A Mat just saw your question. There is a visible slope toward the drain as you get closer to the drain. And using a battery, I was able to confirm that the slope starts at the shower wall. I also confirmed with the level. So there doesn’t seem to be slope issues.
