My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

HELP! Bad flooring installation

I bought my first home last year and did a complete gut. My contractor was recommended by a coworker who had work done in the past by contractor and vouched for his work. In hindsight, he completed a staircase and some other minor things for her and not a whole house (she really should not have spoken on his ability to put a whole house back together). Moving right along, he had his workers install engineered hardwood and the work is terrible!! Plenty of gaps, chips in the wood and one or two planks are completly cracked. I have loss nights sleep not knowing what my options are. Can someone please advise me. I have yet to reach out to the contractor because he's out the country as stated by his wife but I want to explore what my options are for when I finally have the conversation. Please HELP!
