About the color behind the toilet: blueish gray would fits the best.

I would not do anything with too much gray with those floors but I would choose art first and for sure much better lighting I do not like sconces but I do likea a good over the mirror LED fixture that lights the whole space .I love waterig greens or aquas in batrhooms and I love the vanity b BTW. I think just get a ller mirror but let it sit behind the faucet it looks cool. I think PRs are that place where you can have some fun they do not need to be like the rest of the house

I’d put wallpaper on the wall reflected in the mirror. Search for something you love. I think it would look better than hanging art there because of the location of the thermostat(?).

I like the sink you installed. I think Patricia meant to say "taller" mirror. I wouldn't paint an accent wall behind the toilet. That would emphasize the wrong wall. In bathrooms the emphasis is usually put on the sink wall. I really think some art would do the job. The current wall color looks spot on with the floor and would be a good neutral background for any color and type of art. I am skeptical that blue-gray would work with that floor which looks like a warm color. If you do decide to go with a different color I would try leaning green instead of blue.

While wallpaper is great, I didn't want to mess around with it when I did my powder room. I just painted it a medium to light color that goes with other things on the first floor, and then spent a respectable amount of money on art I really like.

It's a pretty bland space. Get some fun, modern, wallpaper with black and white graphics.

Depends on the look you are after and if you search modern power rooms on Pinterest you‘ll see lots of ideas. It’s important to consider the entire space before making individual decisions, especially the lighting and mirror.

I’m not really able to get a sense of the sink area. Is sink centered? Is it just the photo, or is the counter high (and made to feel even higher with the vessel sink and tall faucet); if so, the mirror choice is really important in creating the right proportions. You may have to test a few styles/sizes and also test height In regards to accommodating the faucet.

I’d forego painting wall behind toillet and add large, impactful abstract art. Suggest a smaller modern towel rack and some seagrass basket(s) under sink to take the focus away from the plummimg.

Paint is inexpensive and will set the mood for the room.

The sink has always felt a little high.. Since that is where the plumbing was and it is a concrete wall we decided to skip the hammering but you are totally right

I love those woven hampers/containers that Maureen posted. Without knowing the size, it seems that they would look great under the floating vanity. The smaller one might be useful to store extra toilet paper.

you know what might look good on that wall behind vanity, is the black terra cotta star and cross tile

hang a rattan pendnat light or two pendants

something along this idea. Of couse you could do a zellige tile too.

you need a bit of color and texture in there. It's so plain right now.

Boho style rug

behind the toilet, another wood shelf, maybe some items, or a killer piece of art

a roman plaster treatment on the walls is another suggestion

a warm dark charcoal might be nice
