Does anyone own Synergy brand slipcovered sectional?

We are looking for a sectional to replace our Four Seasons sofa to add more seating we have had our sofa for 10 years and will use in our loft . We have been very happy with it so have been searching for the same casual slipcovered look. the Four Seasons sectional was much more expensive than i expected. We found a brand called Synergy at Johnny Janosik for less than half the price. Very similar construction, 8 way hand tied, down wrapped cushions, washabl washable cotton cushion covers and skirting. If I didnt already have a Four Seasons sofa, i probably wouldnt think twice or know the difference. But I’m having a hard time justifying psying more than double. I cant seem to find any reviews on Synergy. Can anyone here tell me if they own a sectional made by this company and are happy with it?

We bought a Synergy slip covered sofa and swivel rocker for our daughter a few years ago. After some wear, she washed the sofa cover and it looked worse than it did prior to washing. The zipper busted when she put the cover back on the sofa. I washed the cover of the swivel rocker, and had the same experience (splotchy looking fabric, zipper busted when trying to zip it back on. Nothing was machine dried either time). Both were beautiful when we purchased. The sofa cushions lost their shape pretty quickly, and it seemed the sofa sat lower to the ground than when purchased. We're building a house, and have donated our 20+ year old Lazy boy sectional sofa to her. Cushion covers have been washed several times, and look as good as new after each watching. Not sure they even make them like that anymore!

Loishelms, wow sorry to hear about your bad experience. We actually wound up staying with Four Seasons. We found out about a furniture store in NC where we were able to get the sectional we wanted for about the same price as the other. Excellent quality and very fast delivery. I guess its a good thing i didnt go with Synergy.

Thanks for the feed back. I'm considering Four Seasons currently. :-)

I own a Synergy sofa and I love it! I have been in the furniture bussiness for 25+ years and can tell you Syngery uses quality materials and upholstery fabrics. Dry cleaning is recomended for the slipcovers. The covers are too large for the washer, detergent can break down fibers and hard/soft water could also have an effect on overall wear longterm. Cushion cores are thick foam wraped in down blend jackets and frame is 8 way hand tied. The price is unbeatable esp compared to big box/lifestyle brands and there you are just paying for a fancy name. Synergy is tight liped. Google searches are a mute point. If you love it buy it. Care is needed when putting covers on. patience is needed. go slow and do not try just shove the cushion into the covers. gentle hand.

We have 2 white slip covered sofas from Synergy and we've had it since 2015. They are excellent sofas and we purchased them from Macy's in 2015. They are in like new condition and I've washed the slip covers in the washing machine and follow the care instructions that came with our sofas. We sit in them everyday and I turn all the cushions over every week for even wear. They are 8 hand tied frames with down feather + cushions. I would recommend these sofas to anyone.
