In order to get good advice you need to post pictures of the space (from several angles) and draw a floorplan that shows the doors and windows with dimensions. You'll get the best result using graph paper. Give us the dimensions of the piece of furniture you want to put in the room and whatever else you want to use.

Well I have to get back with you I don’t have possession of my house until the end of the month and I’m starting from scratch and I’d like to put a chaise lounge in there . Thank you Denyse

Wait until you own the house. You will want to do a floor plan. A chaise can take up a lot of floor space, yet it is only good for one person unless you can a configuration like this...so more than one person can sit on it.

Well IMO a chaise longue is a really uncomfortable seat they work best in bedrooms where you would lie down to read a book. The one shown is really not a chaiselongue . Maybe show us what piece you are thinking of. IMO in a small space you want to maximize comfy seating

Congratulations on your new place. When you are able please give us some pictures and measurements of the rooms you want help with. Please include measurements of the windows, doors, and openings of the room/rooms. The measurements and pictures will help a lot. We look forward to hearing from you. Best Wishes in your new house and with the move. MAE
