You didn't cite the specific model number. 517 is a series, there is more than one possible model number. Chosing EFLS517SIW0 at random, the water inlet valve assembly P/N is 5304505192. Random online sources have it from $149 to $84 but of course that doesn't include servicer markup, trip, and labor charges. Yours may be a different P/N if it's not that exact model number.

BTW, the water valve assembly mounts at the top left corner behind the dispenser drawer but water flows so a leak would exhibit from wherever it exits the machine. It's a reasonably simple fix, less cost than a new washer. I would do the repair if it was mine. (I can DIY but even so, I would have the repair done if I couldn't.)
