Are you posting a pic of the beds & the room so useable advice can be offered?

@Ely ross It would be helpful to see more of the room but this is a start. I think someone might bring lighting up so I’ll say now that the perceived shade of white you see is likely affected by the lighting in room & natural light too, as well as the other colors in the room. On my monitor the headboard looks creamy white which can lean yellow. Will you describe the headboard please? Is it upholstered or a hard material? It looks like the borders of the design are gold & metal. Is that correct or just an illusion I’m seeing? Do you have 2 twin beds in this room? You mentioned beds. The style of headboard looks modern. I like the gray & white bedding you have & that makes me think of gray color for nightstands. The design on bedding makes me think of ’old fashioned’ shaped lamps for the nightstands & in a white to match headboard color. I do like mixing styles. Looks like the room has pretty flooring. Do you already have an area rug in there or do you plan to? If you’ll show more pics so the whole room can be seen & also any pieces of furniture already in it, I’m certain you’ll receive a lot of suggestions.

beds have gold metal design on it. It's crushed velvet. I don't like how it matches the room. I wanted a white color that would match better. Would love to hear ideas how to finish the room and blend it together. I do think that I will have to change the light fixture. Thinking of putting spotlight

@Ely ross Thanks for adding the pictures! Will you add one more please - need to see other side of room with entry door - or view from window to other side of room. I love the ceiling light so please, no changing! My first thought was that the light is a great design with those beds! I ask for additional pic as I wondered about how much room is on the other side of bed farthest from window. I wondered if you’re thinking one shared nightstand between the beds or one for each bed & that depends on how much room is available. If it’s to be a shared one, I think an oversized one with drawers for storage would be great but the beds might have to move farther apart. I think if you look up ”Bachelor’s Chest” you’ll see what I’m thinking but here’s a link Bachelor’s Chest . These are usually 37” - 48” wide. Now that I know the trim in headboards is gold metal, I think a gold or brass lamp for the nightstand would be great. Are you planning any more window treatment in addition to the shades? I think it would soften the room. It looks like there’s not enough space for drapery panels but I think a Roman Shade in a soft fabric hung at level of that soffit for the heat duct work would be nice. As for walls - what color are they? I see a pale gray on headboard wall with a white ceiling but in other pics all walls look same as ceiling. It’s a trick of lighting I think. But, if the headboards are an exact match to the wall color, the headboards will fade into background. If the walls are a different & slightly darker color than headboards, they will pop which I think would be great. Are you open to or able to paint only the headboard wall a different color or even all the walls? It can be a light color, just needs to be not white. What size are the beds? I’d thought American twin but with larger view I think they’re larger as maybe an American full size? Wondering about the bedding - looks like the covers are duvet but not quite large enough. It would look cozier if the sides of mattress is covered. Are you in US? I may be using a US standard for a European or other country set up.

The beds are 48 inches wide. I'm open to painting the wall behind headboard or to put wall paper. The wall paint is oc 20 which is pale oak and ceiling is white.

I want to get 1 night table between the 2 beds. Don't want to clutter the room. Bachelor chest is to big I think.

Have to start looking for night tables. I'm scared that dark gray would make the room so dark. The ceilings are not tall. I would love to do drapes by the windows. You think it's not possible?

I wasn’t suggesting a really dark gray for wall color - only thinking gray because of the bedding color. The color just needs to be deep enough to provide contrast to the white of beds. Play around with colors using the visualizer tools most paint brands have on their sites. As for drapes - I can’t tell from pics what the available space is between window & bed. You would want enough room for the drape panels to hang nicely to floor & not be bunched up by the bed. The space really should be wide enough that a person can easily walk on that wall side of bed. It also looks like there’s something in the wall under the window - can it be covered by drapes or would you use only decorative side panels since the blind provides the needed privacy & light control?

I have enough space to put drapes till the floor. The roller shade that we have now doesn't look great anymore since we got the beds.
