First, you need a layout for the furnishings. The current one has a few negatives.

A patterned rug would be my go-to. But, I am having difficulty as to how you can place it. The chairs look very far from the sofa.

Just my opinion, but the sectional and two chairs for your space would not be my first choice.

I am wondering if things can be rotated differently.

Not what you can to hear, but I would remove the corner piece out and turn it into a 3 seated sofa.

It could be placed in from the window.

The chairs could then be moved across from the sofa.

Again, this is just visual, without the actual dimensions of the space.

IMO first the TV is too high and irt needs an anchor under it so start there with a lower cabinet that keeps the center of the screen at eye level whaen seated . The add a rug and it will ned to be large to deal with the sectional. Get one with the colors you are wanting IMO hopefully with one color not in that tone but a color to use for accents.The cabinet you show could be used it places the TV about where you have it give or take a few inches. Since you have the cabinet use it. Then the 2 chairs pulled into the spce where the cabinet used to be I think. The pics are abit confusing. Maybe a rug like this

@Patricia Colwell Consulting - thank you for the advice! I know the condo is a weird layout, i'm not a huge fan of it. Also not a huge fan of any of the furniture we have, but I'm going to deal with it and make do :)

IMO this layout would serve you better

All the furnishings you have will work with the new arrangement. This will just make it feel more spacious.

I think what you have is lovely. Just need to add some layers. Rug, plants, art.

Why not slide the furniture into my suggested arrangement and see how it works for you? Post the results.

@BeverlyFLADeziner you've been very helpful, thank you. I tried it - there was too much dead space towards the back - looked very off.. and looks like I forgot to take a photo of the chairs together like the layout you made, but here is one one I have.

Every layout has to be fine-tuned, but you didn't follow the layout I provided.

Move the sectional closer to start at the window line & place the chairs where I suggested. That is where your room narrows so you'll have to play with the location a bit. Move the black round table to the windows.
