Just picked up a super cool pair of antique corbels that I plan to hang in the frame of an entry way. Would normally not dream of painting them, but the paint is extremely uneven. Some sides have no paint and the other side has some chipped paint remaining. Should I seal and hang them or repaint them and de-stress them?
