There is no way a 65" TV will fit above that FP so forget that right now . Waht is the white above the FP is that some kind of soffitt? I need to see the whole room

Hard to tell size and scale from just this picture. Very unfortunate that the fireplace isn’t centred between two windows. I don’t see a reason why the tv wouldn’t fit. Tape it out and see.

Figure out what tv you want and what the outside dimensions are. Start there if that’s what matters

Some type of solution with a continuous ledge above the FP. Keep the solution simple.

Here is the ever popular team tv. It’s 64.5” diagonal. Only 57.4 left to right and 34.2 high. TV sizes are not always as they seem.

you'll need a console that is slightly longer than the tv, mount it to the wall (not too high) and bring in your other decor

So many of us can't abide a TV above the fireplace since it is so high and hard to keep the head up while watching! But if you are going to do it, and would like to place it a better viewing height, can you install a modern gas fireplace that is wide and not too high? That is, forego the traditional fireplace.

I work with PowerPoint and copy images. When I see the photos people post, I visualize what I'd like to do then seach for words that will pop-up pictures of what I'm thinking and able to reproduce over the photo that is posted. Most of the time I gather several images that I gather on the same post.

A TV is only high in a small room with a high mantle. It’s unclear how big this space really is, how high the mantle will be and more.
