Paint it the color of the wall, but just for fun, install a pressure gauge on the conduit.

Is this in an industrial loft or is that plaster/drywall right on top of the masonry? I see what appears to be non-decorative brick above the cabinets more or less in the same plane as the backsplash.

If you are on a solid masonry party wall you will not be able to bury the outlets in the traditional way, most likely. Your option is probably the surface mounted one shown by Paul f.

Some of the Loft conversions my sister looked at had All exposed boxes and conduit on the masonry walls. The alternative would be to fir out the walls and create a conventional cavity wall for utilities.

I also had to do this in my house which was plaster right on the concrete block party walls on the first floor, so we furred out the walls down one entire side of the house for utilities and lost about 5" of interior space. In a narrow row house every inch counts, which is probably why they originally did not do that.

You can consider some plugmold moved down so that it sits on top of the short backsplash.

We surfaced-mounted our wires and outlets in our panty using this sort of product. It's the same sort of product that was used in our office buildings. Easily painted to blend into the wall.
