clogged kitchen sink drain

last modified: 3 years ago

The sink is sloooow to drain. In various order and repeated attempts: We snaked 15 feet. We sent hot soapy water down. We tried baking soda and vinegar. We took off the P trap. We plunged. No luck.

Would a clogged roof air vent cause this? (ETA: We climbed the roof and snaked the vent, still slow to drain.)

Does anyone have a next idea to diagnose before starting the $$ plumber bill?
