That is one tiny fish pond . Can you at least post a to scale plan of the whole area you are working with . Post it here in a coamment do not strat another post. The scale is off to me so I nend a point of reference . I need the size of the pond, of the gazebo and some clue as to how this space relates to your house and where you want to put the patio.

I would extend the brick border install some weed cloth and cover with pea gravel…easy diy..inexpensive …for a space with limited year round use..
