Does anyone have experience with S-box pop-up outlets?

We are installing a kitchen island with double waterfall counters (both ends). We need to install two outlets on the island top (code) and are concerned they will be really ugly. Our tile and stone installers said that the pop-ups with stone tops (matching) stop working after a while. Does anyone have experience with these. S-box makes them and they look so much better than plain metal pop-ups.
