Trying to figure out whether this is the dreaded black tip or normal behavior here as well as what to do. This plant is on a beach in Honduras. It dropped all it's leaves after a heavy storm with strong winds off the sea which covers most everything with salt. There isn't really winter here just a "rainy season" and it has been pretty rainy the last 3 months. The stem feels very firm the whole way down
