Should you decide on a gallery wall, it would be nice to include the colors of your bar stools and island.

Put in a large piece of framed art with lots of color in it. Something modern and abstract to really make it a focal point.

You may need to move both the table and the light fixture- leave enough space between the dining table and the counter seating to move freely to the back door. So the table moves slightly towards the kitchen, and you may then need to center the light over the table. You need to add a light switch to the wall next to the door so you can flip on the light as soon as you open the door. The light switch in the middle of the big wall is just ridiculously poor design- move it over to the kitchen edge of the wall, then get a nice, big piece of art for that big blank wall. It’s a beautiful space that will work out great with a few tweaks. 🙂
