Are you trying to make 1930 to mid century? I wouldn't advise that. Show more spaces in the home.

What was the purpose of white hood midst the oak? Or it is to be painted?

Where to stop if you re-trim your window. To retrim an entire house is major money. Is that where it is best spent? What all are you planning for the home? It might help direct us to light fixtures.

Unfortunately, I don't care for the color of the cabinetry. That particular shade is unappealing to me and can't say that it works well with the backsplash. It also seems off with the flooring. I imagine the color of the window trim and baseboard is original or near original to the 1930's style of your house but, once again, it just doesn't seem quite right. A more consistent color scheme might make the space seem more coherent and serene.

I normally don't like to paint original trim, but I noticed you have white trim in the other half of the kitchen so I would paint your window trim to match. I think a white round or oval table would look good in there with a simple globe light over top.

The trim is lovely and I would paint it all the same in the rooms that are connected. Are you going to refinish the floors?

So the rest of the kitchen is in the hallway? im not sure what the look is here, are you reselling?

Is your trim brown wood in other spaces? Not sure if one room with painted trim will work with spaces that are nearby. Or is the kitchen the outlier?

There has to be a perfect warm white for your kitchen. Have you looked at BM Swiss Coffee? It has a beige (coffee) undertone as opposed to yellow or pink. Off white sounds right for this space with your cabinets, but nothing in the gray family or it will all get kind of dreary. I’m sure a Pro will correct me if I’m mistaken.

If anyone cares for an update. We painted the walls restained the floors and updated the dining table.
