Vinyl Siding Grayish-Green Color HELP

I am trying to choose a grayish-green vinyl siding color for my 1950’s ranch. I am renovating the entire house before moving in and my general contractor said to look at Mastic Quest and Certainteed Monogram. I see there are different levels in each of those major brands, like Certainteed Mainstreet also.

I really wanted a wider lap siding but they only seem to come in 4” or 5”. And I really want to keep costs down. I am posting a picture of the home which will be getting a small portico over the front door. The windows will be white, no shutters, but I’d like to do a darker trim around the windows to contrast with the siding in a darker shade of green or black.

The exterior will look something like this and the roof will be a medium gray.

Have you checked into Hardie cement board siding?

Thanks. My contractor doesn’t want to install Hardie. He hasn’t had good experience with it.

We decided to go with PlyGem Quiet Willow and use the lighter color, Scottish Thistle for trim around the windows. The windows will be white. If anyone has anything further to suggest in the way of trim before the materials are ordered, this would be the time. TIA.

I am also considering Quiet Willow, but with white trim. Would you mind posting a picture of your home?

I wish I could. Our contractor took a long break after putting on the new roof and is just now installing windows and doors. So the siding is still to come. We just reminded him that we wanted Quiet Willow but changed our mind about the trim. We decided to keep it simple and use white trim like the windows. I love the color sample of Quiet Willow. I’ve looked at it in all kinds of daylight. It’s a perfect not too light, not too dark color. I will post when it’s finally done. Good luck and would love to see yours too!

I was thinking a Blue Spruce tree in the yard and it looks like you may have already planted one?
