Empty floor space

Help! Just moved into this place and not so sure what to do with these empty areas. (The pic with double seating is off from entry)

I would put art over the loveseat, some 75% the width of the seating piece. By the entry door, I'd put a small table with a picture or mirror over it, an umbrella stand if needed, maybe a small lamp -- depends a bit on what you have in the rest of the entryway. If you have an entry table elsewhere, then how about a floor lamp?

please show the entire room... complete stairway wall and whats opposite the window with the chairs is that all the furniture you want in the room? tv? without seeing that id cosider putting a chair in front of each window with the table in the corner. ditch the art in that corner. float the loveseat with a walkway behind it and a sofa table if possible facing eiher window.whatever works

Can you do a quick floorplan? I think you are on the right track - might need to angle the loveseat and swap the plant with the end table.

I would remove the little table wedged in beside the loveseat, maybe put it between the chairs instead of the round one, and center the loveseat on the wall. The coffee table is sufficient for drinks, etc. because both people on the love seat can reach it. Then add a large piece of art above the loveseat.

It's difficult to tell without measurements, but if the loveseat length takes up less space than the chairs, I might switch them out to give you more room for a console by the door. Again, can't tell if the existing one would fit there or not. If it does, then I'd add a vertical piece of furniture like a bookcase or breakfront where the console is now.

If it remains where it is, would remove the art that is hung so high and move it to the wall to the left of the console.

If your existing console doesn't work by the door, I'm not sure I'd want 2 in such close proximity, so maybe a mirror above a wall hung shelf to the right of the door.

I might also look for a floor lamp or wall sconce by the chairs and loveseat. You could move the plant and place one to the left of the loveseat.

Take this down. Pictures typically are hung at eye level of the average-height person.

Only you can choose wall decor that sings to you, but here is an idea:

Also, if you want to keep the 3 stacked pics, then I would center them between the curtains and the wall on the left (not centered on the wall).

These are ceramic birds but I didn't take the time to show your wall color surrounding them. They can be placed in any configuration.

I'd like to see a floor plan with dimensions as I find the loveseat seems stuck in the corner and wondering if there would be another possiblity for the furniture layout.

Love all your colors and the layout. The rug seems short since it ends in front of the chairs like it wasn't long enough. Perhaps turn the rug so it's primarily under the loveseat with coffee table. Then the chairs will have more flooring in front of them.

There appears to be enough room for a conversation grouping ..… 2 chairs angled as is … round table in center …loveseat facing chairs.. with little console table behind it

Or chairs facing windows in same arrangement

The carpet def needs to be bigger, I’m trying to find one that compliments the room.
The only other wall for the loveseat would be to swap out the credenza in its place

I’d have to work on that—-I’m so new at this

Simply measure along the walls and indicate entrances, doors, and windows. Then draw the room on paper showing dimensions, take a photo and post.

Also …try some of the suggestions and post pictures of how they look…
