Candlelight bulbs can have a candelabra base or a medium base

Make sure the bulb you select can be dimmed.

The bulb you select also depends on the appearance you're attempting to achieve.

If a chandelier has shades, then the bulb cannot have a 'flame tip'

If you really want candlelight then there are flickering bulbs. They are low watts and are for affect not actual lighting.

Then you have to decide if you want incandescent or LED which I'm not going to discuss in this post.
