What do I do with the pomegrante seedlings?

I germinated a couple pomegranate seeds, and expected only about half of them to sprout, but all of them sprouted and i planted them, but now i find myself with too many and they are crowding the grow light and the space. Should i get rid of the weaker seedlings, or something else?

Just FYI, most poms sold in stores are from hybrid trees, so you're unlikely to get that in seeds that you plant.

Ah... pomegranites are trees, and do well in mid- to lower California. If you have the space to keep it as an in-house tree, then maybe.

But then, on the citrus forum, it amazes me the citrus trees the folks there grow in what I'd call small containers... AND get fruit. They live all over the world and somehow have them florish.

It kind of hurts me to get rid of perfectly healthy seedlings, but i don't think I'll have the space to store all of them, so how should I get rid of them?

If you really want to keep one then let them all grow a bit larger, then cut off all but the strongest.
