Square off the transitions and install wood. Natural materials look fine next to each other. It's not unusual for people to have tile foyers and wood stairs.

Not an expert but I’m nodding with above. Think kitchens with granite and marble and wood. I know that’s not necessarily floors, but classic naturals together rather than trying to mix tiles of faux something.

If so then you’d want to consider your overall deco plan for what wood stain, or what will be adjacent.

Why aren't you looking for a match? It doesn't have to be perfect.

Marble and walnut...hands down. Victorian furniture in walnut often had marble tops.

Go with engineered, factory finished. Gorgeous.
