i would expect them to abort themselves ... but if they dont.. i suppose i would also remove them ... big drain of stored energy and moisture ....

can we see pix of the bud union... do you think those will be strong enough.. fast enough to support future spring growth???

Ruth. Black mulberry cuttings are super easy. You just stick them in a potting mix when temps get warmer and watch them grow. I've already failed with Red Himalayan, Pakistan and Australian Green trying to root them. Those are more difficult so that's why I'm grafting them this year.
