Ceiling in storage room to cover spray foam

We recently had spray foam applied to the underside on a metal roof to insulate and seal in a storage room. Now looking for the EASIEST way to cover to make the room appear finished. Not looking for anything fancy, just functional and preferably something a non-pro can DIY . Thanks for the ideas!

Nothing overhead is an easy DIY job.

But the simplest economical finish would be plywood panels, either nailed or in channels. That's assuming the foam has first been sprayed with an intumescent paint. If not, drywall would be required as the fire barrier.

In the U.S., your choices are 1/2" drywall, T&G wood planks, plywood (~1/2" thick), or intumescent paint. Drywall would be the easiest, cheapest, and simplest way to meet code. I do not believe that you would have to mud the joints on the drywall, but if you did it could just be firetaped (which is a quick slop job).
