Lots of potential for your entryway. I would consider rug 5x7, and go round rug in dining room that compliments. The Art looks too high for with the low plant stand by stairway. The floor is beautiful!

@andrew I’m not aware of any software that could help create a 3D space. Do you have any recommendations for a beginner?

I agree that a much larger rug would have greatest impact. Also, the picture is too high. The bench seems misplaced in front of the door even if you don’t open that side. Try swapping it with the plant stand & palm - just not having a seat there ’feels’ better. The palm will be better with the small items you have on wall. Try a different seat in corner by stairs - use one of your dining chairs for a mock up since it can be placed at an angle. If that looks better & you want a seat in entry then maybe try a small upholstered chair in the spot. If you want a more glam look, the wall hooks at left of door can be a more ornate piece than what’s there looks like.

Rectangular rug or runner would work better

I like this inspiration photo.

Thank you… the visual helps!
