I think it’s timeless. I do love the full sidelights as it brings in a lot of natural light. But between our dog and grandkiddos, I clean them daily.

I would look at doors with glass that mimics your windows. These are a couple examples. No sidelights here but the same can be done with them. Also, think about a light color for the door to help pull it out of the shadows. Decorative glass is a matter of preference but can sometimes look dated.
