I need to see where this is going no context gets no answers IMO/ I woul never get a patterened umbrella

What does the rest of your patio furniture look like? Can you post pix of the current set-up?

I have a small patio off screened porch. I don’t have my patio setup yet so it looks a little drab right now but have attached a pic of patio and screened porch

I went back and tried to find additional pic patio setup from past years which I have attached. Why would you not get a patterned umbrella?

Maybe instead of these umbrellas, your space would work better with a retractable awning?

Did retractable awnings at our old house. Prefer market umbrellas

I cannot stand sitting at table with a pole between me and others.

I have installed offset umbrellas underground & I think wall-mounted ones work also.

Patterned umbrellas limit other choices, can feel dated and stripped doesn’t suit many looks. Suggest mocha, as it’s neutral and won't be limiting, then inject pattern with cushions. I like a cantilever for its large coverage/defining a seating area. Could also get large clay pots and place in a grouping.

I live in Maine, a 1/2 mile up river from the ocean, so I’m team inexpensive. Doesn’t seem to matter how much we spend, our outdoor stuff takes a beating. If you like the pattern, go for it.

I don't find the patterned umbrella particularly appealing.

Fissfiss our backyard backs up to a wooded reserve and we have a lot of wildlife and birds along with tree debris so our outdoor umbrellas, coupled with sun fading, don’t fare well over a couple years. We stick to fairly inexpensive and replace when needed. I have already purchased a solar light umbrella in a burnt orange color to match my porch decor and have decided to order the patterned one I like as well.
