Post pic of all the things already installed or at least chosen . Why fake plastic stone at ? As for seeing either in some one elses space that will in no way help you. My first suggestion is before choosing anything else you make sure the lighting is all LED 4000K . Blues and grays are hard to work with so the better the lighting is the better to choose.

Do you know what color your cabinets are? Looks great!

Here is a pic of the kitchen- the surround cabinets will be painted white, the island the dark blue/gray on the square stuck to it. Backsplash will be picked out after the rest is complete. The floors have to stay- not in budget to redo the floors. I already have had granite counters for 20 years and want quartz this time. Trying to pick between small veins vs larger veins. Looking for suggestions on specific white quartz options that would look good with these floors.

The old island countertop has already been removed so that we could make it all one height. That is just a plastic table on there for now

Melissa Allen do you live in Illinois? If so, I can send you the info where I bought my white cabinets. We had the most amazing experience with them. I’m painting our peninsula hale navy.

Just remember the hot pot cannot go on the quartz like it did on the granite .Please do not store wine above the fridge worst place possible .

Thanks for your advice regarding wine storage. What I would really like is advice on specific white quartz countertops that go with these floors.

@melissadobkin I used Handsome Cabinets in Elk Grove. Ask for Tony they’re the only company in Illinois that can have your cabinets in stock the same week. Tony was great to work with and very helpful

can someone tell me what white cabinets you went with to go with the calacatta abezzo countertops- I am looking at SW colors - snowbound and extra white - has anyone used those colors.

We did extra white and during the day they’re great. At night they are softer than the counters which bothers me.

I love the look though. It is beautiful. Have you been happy with your countertops- they are the abezzo? I chose those over the silestone ethereal glow because of the significant cost difference. Lighting can make such a difference on the paint colors for sure

I love the counters, but quartz is very different than our granite and I do find them showing stains/marks in sunlight and a few stains already which stinks. Need to do some research about getting those stains out and best cleaner. But love the look of our counters!

We are trying to decide between Abezzo and Izaro quartz for countertop/backsplash. Our cabinets are light wood color, Kraftmaid Vantage wicker in maple. Any ideas?
