I have found good reviews with the kitchen cabinets although I can’t find out much about the appliances. I like the whole idea of the one shop shopping. Although not sure if I should buy the appliances else where.
    Thanks

The appliances are basically frigidaire rebadged. You don't need to use IKEA appliances if you use their cabinets.

"Although not sure if I should buy the appliances else where"

Check Consumer Reports for appliance reviews and ratings. CR does include some IKEA appliances in its ratings. IKEA doesn't manufacture appliances so in some cases you may find a nearly identical appliance from an OEM at a similar or lower price. For example, the IKEA TVÄRSÄKER and Frigidaire GCRI3058AF are similar but the IKEA model excludes the air fry feature. Most IKEA appliances have five-year warranties which is nearly unmatched.

IKEA induction cooktops are very well priced.

The unique IKEA SUPERKALL refrigerator fits inside an IKEA cabinet.

Join IKEA Family before buying anything. It has a credit card too which offers savings on IKEA purchases.

Warranty coverage promised for Ikea appliances will initially temp you as their appliances have 5 year warranties. But this is a hollow promise because you will become the ball in a ping pong game between Frigidaire and Ikea as you spend LOTS of your own valuable time being redirected in a vicious circle as they each claim the other is accountable for getting them repaired. Also, don't assume that all service techs who work on Frigidaire will be willing or able to service those models sold by Ikea. As for Ikea cabinets? Yes, they can be a great value- priced alternative to similarly priced cab brands and, as snappity mentioned, they are designed to fit North American appliance standard sizing for most any appliance brand. Please save your future self the pain and high blood pressure of getting caught in the middle of these 2 companies when it comes down to appliances!!

I was surprisingly impressed by their refrigerators on a recent visit. We didn't look there at all for a recent fridge purchase but as I wandered through looking for other things, I noticed that they had a couple of models that looked to be comparable finishes and quality to some of the higher end freestanding models we looked at. (No idea on the performance; I presumed they were rebranded from another manufacturer, and it sounds like that's correct.) That said--they were not any cheaper except when they are on sale (though yes, the warranty is better). The model equivalent to the Bosch we wound up with was actually more expensive. The little panel-ready model is a pretty cool idea for the price, though.

Ikea appliances are made by Electrolux, which also badges Frigidaire. Their 5 year warranty is miles better than the ONE YEAR WARRANTY Whirlpool has made standard for appliances in that price range. In fact, Ikea dropped Whirlpool as their appliance supplier in N. America. Electrolux is a big step up, imo. Vedhamn is an European Oak choice made in Hungary. You can find plenty of European Oak flooring choices but try and find European Oak cabinets from a US company. Let me know of any sources.
