Wrapping up a kitchen remodel, and need lighting advice. Want to replace the light over island, not sure if pendants or a long hanging light would be best. 8 ft ceilings. Wouldn't want anything hanging low and too bright in the face. Should I also add recessed lights? Also want a coordinating light over dining table. Would maybe like to bring in lighter wood similar to island stools. Suggestions/pics are appreciated!
