I personally do not care for brick with siding.
So if you must go with siding, I’d go with stone or stucco.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I’m sure you’ve already looked at your neighbors’ home for likes and dislikes? In my last neighborhood everything was regulated by HOA including the percentages of stucco, siding, etc. Does your HOA require that? I would suggest not veering too greatly from the other homes’ styles.

You have brick how much more do you need? I hate HOAs and their stupid rules about your own home. But since you have one we need to know what the rules are.Contemporary would have been possible with no grids in the windows so now you need to figure out what can and can't be done to make your home nice .

I might be able to remove the grids from the windows. We’ve had to switch builders for many reasons, one was that he didn’t communicate with us and built as he chose to… so we’re redoing things.
