Looking for some advice from the experts here. Bought this house a year ago and we're looking to change the look of our garage's exterior. Ours is a corner house with a detached garage. The photos are of the back of the house, the yard is on the side of the house.

- Should we go for dark green or dark grey paint on the exterior walls of the garage? Either way, the door will be painted black. Will need to remove the Boston ivy stems from the walls first.

Also attaching photo of our house's exterior colour.

- Thinking of placing planters (with bench - see photo) or a few raised planters along the wall (where you see the shovel) until the door. That wall is 10ft long. Maybe also a couple of black decorative panels you see in the photo over the planters.

This spot gets max 2-3 hours of sun and we will be planting greens and flowers that grow in the shade.

What do you all think? Happy to hear other ideas too.
