Your picture is not clear but I suppose the new trim does not cover the gap in the flooring from the old trim? Looks like you need to add base blocks

I think a plinth block would look nice here. We had to use 2 on a door install when the original moulding was water damaged.

Thank you! The problem resulted when the plinth blocks were removed. My goal was to update and now this. The tile guy said he could cut a small piece where the problem doors are and solve it this way.
