We're remodeling our basement using unfinished T 111 siding and barn doors. We put wooden slats on the the ceiling which nicely disguises the wires and plumbing there. Now, in a small hallway past the laundry, we have white pvc piping that we'd like to hide, but would rather not box in, as it would cut into the space too much.

I thought of wrapping it with sisal, just to blend it in since it's pretty impossible to disguise. The space is rustic and informal and we're open to creative solutions. Any ideas? Thanks!
