Greetings all!

I have a bird fountain in my yard that my wife loves and wants me to make it functional again in its current location. The problem is that the outdoor electrical outlet it used to use to power the pump has died. So I got a solar pump, but the fountain is in the shade, and when I put the solar panel out in at least partial sun and run the cord to the pump (it is inside the fountain so its not like you'd see the unsightly cord) rodents have twice chewed through the cord. So I am wondering if there are any fountain pumps that run on batteries? I saw one made by Hydria, but that was kind of pricey (not sure exactly because the pricing was in English currency and I am American).
