I have gotten marks on my engineered floors over the years, and those wood markers work well to cover them up.

I don’t because the ones I just saw I used a floor marker to color them in. Next time I see one I will take a picture of it.

It's probably the dog's nails catching at the bevel, but make sure you're not using excess water for cleaning.

I’m sure it’s probably the dogs nails. I usually dust mop the floor and use and electric broom. I do not over wash my floor. When I do wash it it’s with a damp mop.
