If it was suddenly taken outside in the sun, it was burned. It could have spider mites too, but it is surely burned.

The burned leaves can't recover. But new leaves should look fine. If all of the leaves are burned, there's no reason to not leave it outside now, as long as nights are above freezing. New leaves will be able to handle it. Because it's so hard to acclimate existing leaves to any significant sun outside after being inside all winter, individual leaves can stay on the plant for several years, and these palms do fine w/o much sun, they are usually kept in mostly shade when taken outside for summer vacay. I've accidentally burned my palms quite a few times. It's frustrating, taking a few years to fill with new unburned leaves after that.

To check for spider mites, wipe the bottoms of leaves with a white paper towel and if you see little dots moving, that's spider mites. If all of the leaves are burned and you cut them off, that should stop spider mites. Gently wipe the spear of the newly forming leaf at the tip.

Peeling the stumps of dead leaves off of the trunk can help eliminate crevices where pesties like to hide. Start at one corner and loosen it so you can peel the stumps off of the trunk by pulling sideways. Just try to not gouge the trunk.
