Hi, I have some volunteers in my vegetable containers that are getting pretty large. I'm pretty sure that one kind is black-seeded simpson lettuce, which I have tried to grow before with not much success. The other kind doesn't match any lettuce packet I have in my stash. Is it oakleaf lettuce? Are there weeds that are oakleaf lookalikes in the Mid-Atlantic region? I just want to make sure before I start eating it!
