CCA Pool Deck treatment plan

I have a CCA deck around my above ground pool, deck, railing, fencing. It has been power washed a few times and now looks terrible. I have come to understand that power washing obliterates the soft material of the wood leaving raised grain and a shabby look. Unfortunately, it has never been stained or treated with any wood preservation product other than it's original manufacturing process.

I do not want to make the situation worse by power washing it again.

What are my alternatives?

Some will recommend applying a preservative but be very cautious in doing it. Many preservatives cause water to bead on surface and become dangerously slick. I'm content allowing wood to grey. If appearance is a deal breaker paint with abrasives for better footing might be an option. Painting posts,edges of boards and other non-contact surfaces can dress the deck up.
