Shaw Urethane vs Montage UV Oil Engineered Floors?

We think we’ve narrowed our new engineered flooring down to Shaw Urethane or Montage UV Oiled.

The floor company said that with the Shaw Urethane we’d need to use a furniture pen if we wanted to hide a scratch, and any scratches on the Montage oil finish should buff out with oil. They recommended Bona for the Shaw, and the Montage recommends using Woca Oil Soap for regular cleaning.

I’ve searched the archives for oil vs urethane but since the Montage UV Oiled is apparently newish am looking for updated advice on which direction to go. The Shaw urethane floor has a 50 year warranty leading us to believe that it’s pretty durable. I don’t think either has Aluminum Oxide, we were told that with AO the inevitable scratches will appear white.

We live on a farm with dogs and kids and they floors will definitely be tested. We’re choosing a rougher and more knotty floor to help the floor still look good as it ages. Which would have the best surface durability, age well, and be the easiest to maintain?
