I've been on Gardenweb since the 90s, and have seen all the changes. This forum - along with most of the gardening forums - has slowed waayyy down over the years (kind of like me). I spend more time on what used to be ThatHomeSite forums now - Kitchen Table, Cooking, and Home Decorating Conversations are still pretty busy.

It seems many of the old regulars have dropped off - I suspect many are no longer with us.

I unfortunately think that many are no longer with us either. Ive been active on a few other forums for a couple decades and several core members from those have passed on over recent years as well. Ill have to check out ThatHomeSite, thank you for the tip. Otherwise theres Reddit. This place was busy all the time back in the 2010s. I learned alot here. Got alot of feedback as a younger gardener. I really do miss it.

So it is. Scrolled through that thread several times and missed it each time. I must be getting old or something lol.... Anyways thank you for finding that.

II’m still here…sort of. Mostly lurking because aside from the orchid GH I can't do much gardening. I was diagnoseed with stage 2 COPD a while ago and this and the heart disease are kicking my butt. Hubby helps me with the orchids and a few years ago when I got sick we created a new garden with mostly native flowers that take care of themselves with very little help from us. This flower garden is all we have but it's beautiful and butterflies love it!

Still here. I miss some of the regulars from years ago (Marcia especially) but I do drop in occasonally to see what I can learn.

I'm still here, but I've lost a lot of my passion for gardening. Getting old, and have cut back quite a bit. I'm still addicted to plants, but the gardening itself -- not so much.

Same here - I just don't have the gumption I used to, and my joints are definitely getting creakier.

I still pop in here every once in a great while. It used to be THE site for info on gardening in Florida. I learned so much from the group and the swap meets. When Houzz took over everything changed. It became too 'sterile' and no longer the cozy place I wanted to be. I have become a dedicated gardener using much plant info from the original group. --Linda Leaf
