Looks like it needs a bit of warmth given that it is your bedroom. So would suggest a larger rug, much larger so that the bed can sit on it there be plenty of walk room around the three sides. It looks like you have room for a seating area, so a comfortable chair and small table near the window.

Ps, hate to sound like a parent but make your bed! Then have a swipe around for bed linen - either keep with a crisp white or you could go an olive shade of green, or even more dramatic a chocolate brown if solid colour is preferred. Bed linen gives you the opportunity to bring in a pattern or design so you could be more adventurous or luxurious.

It seems you misunderstood the purpose of sharing the photo, which was to seek opinions and suggestions, not to be criticized in a rude manner. Respect your own photos. Tidy up at unpack. Take pics, Post a room inspo or three of a bedroom you really like.

To take the half hearted, throw your hands in the air approach? Not as great a method to get help.

As others have suggested: lamps (rather than use overhead light), a much larger rug (to go under the bed and extend beyond), and art for the walls. No over the door hooks on that door. Perhaps a seating area (chair with small side table) near the window if there's a view instead of using a desk in the bedroom.

To get "help," you don't just title your post "help" with no details or questions. And asking us to vote on something that doesn't provide info on what we're voting on doesn't help you either.

The best way to get help is to post a dimensioned floor plan, along with your wishes and desires for the room. Photos of bedrooms that you like helps us understand what look you're going for. That's how a designer would approach the project.

Redesigning can mean different things.

1. Are you looking to buy additional furniture. Are you only asking for decor suggestions: rug/lighting/accessories. If wanting help with layout, a floor plan with dimensions would help.

2. Can you provide info on your style and preferred colors (are those three color chips on floor next to bed) and are you open to painting.

3. Have you looked at any on line inspiration rooms. If you like Scandi, that could be a good start.

The more info you provide, the better the advice will be and suggest not purchasing anything until you have direction.
