Doesn't look like it, however it could be early stage RMV. My Earth AngelAngel gets bizarre foliage thatthat ends in abbreviated, blind growthgrowth from time to timetime, so yours could be doing the same thing.

I would just watch the suspicious growth and see if it develops typical, conclusive symptoms and proceed accordingly at that time.

RMV fobia has plagued mmany emany rose loverslovers, me included. Try to take it in stride.
